Ingredients:

4-5 medium-sized apples (any type will do)

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
  2. Peel and core the apples, then cut them into thin slices. Arrange the slices in the greased pan.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Add the melted butter and mix until fully incorporated.

Ingredients:

2/3 cup butter

1 cup brown sugar

2/3 cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

2/3 cup hot cocoa mix

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.

2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the brown sugar until dissolved.

3. In a medium bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and vanilla extract.

5. Slowly stir in the melted butter mixture until well combined.

6. Slowly mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.

7. Fold in the hot cocoa mix.

8. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.

Ingredients: 

6oz white chocolate 

6oz dark chocolate 

1 teaspoon peppermint extract 

2 tablespoons crushed peppermint candy

Instructions: 1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. 

2. In a double boiler melt the white chocolate. Once melted stir in the peppermint extract. 

3. Spread the melted chocolate over the parchment paper and place it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes or until hardened. 

4. In the double boiler melt the dark chocolate. Once melted spread it over the hardened white chocolate and sprinkle it with the crushed candy. 

5. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 15 minutes or until the dark chocolate has hardened.6. Break the peppermint bark into pieces and enjoy!

Recipe for baked apple donuts

Here's a delicious recipe for homemade baked apple donuts that I'm sure you'll love.

Ingredients: 

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt- 

2 eggs

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup applesauce

1/2 cup diced fresh apples

Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease two 6-cavity donut pans.

2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, oil, and applesauce until well blended.

4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

5. Fold the diced apples into the batter.

6. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pans and bake for 10-12 minutes.

7. Let the donuts cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Here is a great recipe for gingerbread cookies. 

You will need: 

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda 

1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 

3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened

3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/2 cup molasses

1 large egg

Directions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. 
  • Grease cookie sheets. 
  • In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves; set aside. 
  • In a large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until creamy. 
  • Beat in molasses and egg until blended. 
  • Gradually add in flour mixture, beating until blended. 
  • Cover and refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness. 
  • Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. 
  • Place cutouts 1 inch apart on prepared cookie sheets. 
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. 
  • Cool for 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire racks to cool completely. 
  • Decorate with icing or decorator sugar, if desired. Enjoy!
